Manna Ministry Launch!

Kick-off Meeting on Tuesday, 02/24/09 @ 7pm in Santa Clara, CA. A healthy and hearty dinner will be provided. Please RSVP via e-mail to joannasim [at] gmail [dot] com if you plan on attending.

Manna Mission: The manna ministry participants will learn together on how to responsibly treat our God-given bodies through proper nutrition. Members must commit to being accountable to one another during the time of commitment.

Story of Manna: In 2008, Joanna started on a life-changing journey when her dad experienced a stroke and nearly died. Her dad’s health problems stemmed mostly from obesity and when she jumped on the scale, she was shocked to see herself at 200 lbs. After a few months of disciplined and “godly” nutrition, just like Manna in the desert, she has come to a new understanding about what her body needs and how to sustain these habits for life.

Is this for me? Is this for me? Manna Ministry is for anyone who can benefit from a support group to turn their physical lives around – Whether you are suffering from weight problems, failed diets, other health problems. You will be surprised how many health problems stem from poor nutrition.

Ministry Coverage:

• What is the state of our health today?
• Motivation check: Why should we care?
• What is ideal nutrition? Does God fit in with this?
• Implementation of nutrition plan
• Individual and group goal setting
• What does our blood say?
• Pantry visits and overhauls
• Farmer’s Market visits
• The role of exercise
• Introduction to Kettlebells
